What is EBenefits? EBenefits is CSEBA s benefits self-service website. EBenefits allows you to view, enroll in and make changes to your benefits information quickly, easily and securely. Since this system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can view and change information conveniently from any PC with Internet capability from home or work. EBenefits Online Access EBenefits provides you with secure and easy access to important benefits information. Once you have registered, the types of information currently available through EBenefits are: My Home Link directly to begin your enrollment, access your Employee Information, Dependent/Beneficiaries, connect to benefit provider websites, access benefit documents, download forms, review messages. My Benefits Review current benefit information, link directly to benefit providers. My Family & Me Review your information, review, add and/or change your dependents/beneficiaries. My Life Events Log a qualifying life event such as marriage, birth, divorce, etc. My Messages View my Messages My Benefit Documents View documents and benefit summaries Now that you are familiar with the basics of EBenefits, feel free to use the site as often as you wish. EBenefits your portal for instant and easy benefits access. If you have any questions while using the EBenefits system, you can contact Technical Customer Support at 866.203.8051, between 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. EST 2

Registration I. Access EBenefits online To access the system, you will need to type: http://www.ebenefits.com/alsd into the address bar of your Web browser. II. Registration You will be directed to the login page (see Fig. 1). If you have not previously registered, click Click Here to Register in the I am a first time visitor box. You only need to register once. Once you click on the link, the validation page will appear. (Fig. 1) 3

A. First-Time User Validation You will need the following information to securely validate your identity: Last Name, Birth Date and Last Four Digits of SSN. After this data has been entered, click the Next button (see Fig. 2). (Fig. 2) 4

B. Registration Details Once validation is complete, you will be directed to the Employee Information tab. Information on this page was provided by your Human Resources Office. If you view any discrepancies, please contact your HR Department. Please take a moment to review and add information accordingly: 1. Review your employee information on the Employee Information Tab. Enter any applicable information (ie, Emergency Contact). Click Save and Continue at the bottom of the page and you will be directed to a page where you will need to create your username, password, and secret question and answers here. (Figs. 3). Remember your username and password. You will need them each time you log on to EBenefits. NOTE: The Username and Password must be a least 8 characters long and can contain ONLY letters and numbers, NO special characters. It also CANNOT begin with a number (i.e. Bsmith06). (Figs. 3) 5

III. EBenefits Home Page Once you have submitted your security information you will be redirected to the EBenefits Home page. Depending on the event period (ie, New Hire, Open Enrollment, etc.), you will have a link under the Take Action section of the screen. To begin your benefit elections, click on the appropriate link. If you are not in an event, you are only permitted to review your current elections and update your beneficiaries (Fig. 4). IV. Making Your Elections To start making elections, simply click on the Change My Enrollment link, make your election, then click the Save & Continue button at the bottom of the page to proceed through your benefit elections (Fig. 5). V. Submitting Your Elections Once you have completed your elections you will need to take a final step to confirm that you have completed your enrollments. Go to the bottom of the page or upper right-hand corner of the page and click the Submit Enrollments button. (Fig 6). (Fig. 6) Once you have clicked the Submit Enrollments button you will land on the Disclaimer page. Check the box to indicate you have read the disclaimer, type your initials in the initials box and click Submit Your Changes. You have now successfully submitted your election and you will receive a Confirmation message: 7
