The Approach In commemoration of the Year of Zayed, we have proposed an activation that encourage public participation and highlights ADAC s initiative to encourage and promote Art in the region. The competition is built around five values that represent and reflect His Highness key teachings, they are: Wisdom Respect Sustainability Human Development Our approach is to enlist art entries from universities, schools and aspiring artists representing any or all of the above listed themes. Submissions will be held online and the final selection will be recreated in large scale at the Airport.

Social Media Competition Drive Social Media contest to engage young artists to take part in creating the wall through below phases: Phase 1: Run a Social Media Competition to engage young artists based in UAE and ask them to submit their sketches and ideas for Zayed Wall. Each participant can submit one or more artwork which represents one of the values for a chance to win AED 10,000 and paint their artwork on the wall. (2 weeks) Phase 2: Select the winning artwork and announce the winner (1 week) Phase 3: onsite Execution (2 weeks)

Entering the Competition The art competition (the "Competition") is open to children living in the UAE aged between five and eighteen years old ("You"). To enter the Competition, You should finish the artwork and submit on or before 11 February 2018. You can enter the Competition by sending your entry to the AUH Art, Marketing Department Abu Dhabi Airport, AbuDhabi, UAE. You are responsible for the cost of sending your Competition entry to us. Or send it online on auhart@adac.ae. When submitting your Competition entry, You must provide your name, age and address and the name and contact telephone number of your parent or guardian. We will only use this information in relation to the Competition (including checking your eligibility to enter it) and will not use it for any other purposes whatsoever. We will not keep this information for longer than is necessary for the operation of the Competition. You can send one entry for each Value to the competition. Employees or agents of AbuDhabi Airport and Plan b Group ( "We"), its group companies or their family members may not enter the Competition.
Publishing the Winning Entries The winning entries will be published on the AbuDhabi Airport social channels and web site at www.abudhabiairport.ae from 22 February 2018 or at a later date decided by the management with prior announcement. Copy right of winning artworks will go to ADAC and the artist doesn t have the right to use it for other projects, however the credit should be given to the artist every time ADAC uses their artwork without charging any additional fees and the artist can only show it in his/ her profile mentioning the project owner any name (Abu Dhabi Airport companies, AUH FANN) ADAC will get to use only the winning artwork as if the artwork is not selected they should be having the right to use it. By submitting an entry to the Competition, You give Abu Dhabi Airport Company a. Permission for your entry to be published on Abudhabi Airport social channels a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to republish your Competition entry in electronic format and hard copy for purposes connected with the Competition; and b. The right to use your name, age and town or city of residence for the sole purpose of identifying You as the author of your entry.
Getting consent from an adult Sending in an entry to the Competition means that You accept these Terms and Conditions, which are the rules of the Competition. You should check with your parent or guardian that they are happy for You to enter the Competition based on these Terms and Conditions. AUH ART requires the consent in writing (which may include e-mail) of the parent or guardian of the author of a winning entry to publish that winning entry and the author's name, age and town or city of residence on Guardian Unlimited. If AUH ART does not receive written consent (which may include e-mail) from the parent or guardian of the author of a winning entry then we may award the prize to another entry for which we are able to gain such consent.
General Terms and Conditions Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. We take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt. Your entry will not be returned to You. No purchase is necessary. The Promoter of the Competition is AUH ART,AbuDhabi Airport and Plan B Group. Any complaints regarding the Competition should be sent to this email address auhart@adac.ae Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of AUH ART for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence. AUH ART accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by You as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize. AUH ART further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to You or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.
General Terms and Conditions AUH ART reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of AUH ART in all matters under its control is final and binding. AUH ART shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure. The Prize There will be 5 winners for the competition (one for each value) Each winner will receive a cash prize of AED 10,000. The parents or guardians of the 4 winners will be notified by telephone on or before 22 February 2018. The prizes will be given to the 4 winners by AUH ART Management The prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred by You.

Judging Judging Criteria: Creativity and originality of the Artwork. Quality of artistic composition and overall design based on the value the artwork is representing. Overall impression of the art.... Submitted image quality. Complying with the terms and conditions of the Competition.
