Ensure completion of the required school safety audits. Ensure districts have a multihazard emergency operations plan in place and ensure that schools have conducted safety and security audits on all facilities. Publish on the TEA website and via Agency press release a list of school districts that have not completed the statutory school safety audit requirements within 45 days.

Governor Abbott Orders Immediate Action to Address the Safety of Texas Schools 2/21/18 Work with the TxSCC, DPS and the Governor's office to draft recommendations to the Texas Legislature on changes to school safety.
