In relation to digitalization, at present we are engaged in the Digital Agenda Comunitat Valenciana 2014-2020 Horizon ICTs are necessary tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness of public administration They enable us to reduce administative charges for citizens and enterprises The objective is to reduce in Spain administrative charges by at least 30%

ICTs also play an important role in economic growth and employment The objective is to foster ICTs role as an intelligent, sustainable and integrated growth engine: Intelligent. Based on know-how and innovation Sustainable. Efficient use of resources and respect for environmental protection Integrated. Quality of employment and benefits

The estimated budget for Digital Agenda C.V. 2014-2020 Horizon is 582.2 million. based on three foundations. Digital Citizenship 194.9 mill. Digital Economy 118.2 mill. Digital Administration 269.7 mill.

Digital citizenship extends to: ITCs for Health ITCs for Education ITCs for Justice Open government, transparency & acces to public information Smart cities Security & trust in network services Digital inclusion

Digital economy covers: ICTs for competitiveness Promotion & specialisation in ICTs Hipersector ICTs for employment R+D Valencian system in ICTs Net spreads and digital broadband services

Digital administration deals with: Digital Public Services No paper Administration Interadministrative cooperation and interoperabilty Rational management of ICTs resources Promotion of technological innovation in public management

Recently, our regional government has, in close cooperation with the townhalls of the Valencian Community, drawn up the Digital Broadband Map Comunitat Valenciana, identifying 641 new zones without coverage. The aim is to create a permanent forum with the different townhalls in order to achieve high speed broadband in the entire territory of our Community.

NEXT OBJECTIVES ON DIGITALIZATION Avant Agenda to cross digital divide in rural areas Artificial Intelligence Observatory for Public Administration SMEs Plan Industry 4.0 Virtual offices opened to citizen consultation A digital district to foster the constitution of a digital ecosystem for a new Economic Model

SUMMARY ICTs diffusion and data use have a great potential in social progress (health, education, concilliation, environmental protection, food safety, transport systems, energy efficiency and city management, among others). It is essential to analyse the positive and negative aspects of ITCs and how they can affect productivity and work. Public authorities and social partners must develop common strategies to transit to digital economy skilfully and efficiently in order to achieve competitive advantages and to compensate its negative effects.

Type of employment & jobs will considerably change with robotization an digitalization. Self-employed workers, digital workers platforms and telecommuting are examples of this evolution. 8 up to 10 young adults will work in new jobs to be created in the coming years. Besides, digitalizationtalisation gives rise to new employment conditions that may affect social protection systems. We have to face up to this fast and unceasing process in which administrations, workers and employers must play a key role.
