Government Response The Govt accepted in full or in part 81 of the 89 Heseltine recommendations. A decentralised approach that empowers LEPs to drive forward growth in their areas. Govt has created a single local growth fund. LEPs to create new multi-year plans for growth. Streamline the management of EU funds aligned with LEP plans. Strengthening the link between government and business, and business and education.
