MARCH 2018 NEWSLETTER Attendance Matters Benefits of Daily Attendance. Just by being present at school, your child is learning how to be a good citizen by participating in the school community, learning valuable social skills, and developing a broader world view. Being at school every day gives students a chance to learn about extra curricular activities, extra learning opportunities, and to take the important exams they need to build a successful academic record. Parental commitment to school attendance will also send a message to students that education is a priority, that going to school every day is a critical part of education success, and that it s important to take your responsibilities seriously including going to school. *Source: www.colorincolorado.org/article/school-attendance-keysuccess More information on regular attendance and its impact on student success can be found at www.colorincolorado.org PMS Philomath Community Library Teen Night: Wednesday, 3/21/18, 5:00-7:00 p.m. T-Ball, Softball and Baseball Sign-ups PYAC is now registering for T-Ball, Softball and Baseball for youth entering Kindergarten (in Fall of 2018)-through-current 8 th graders.
