About the E4Impact Foundation E4Impact is a spin off of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC) of Milan, the largest private University in EU. It offers the MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship in 7 African countries: Kenya (2010), Ghana (2013), Sierra Leone (2014), Uganda and Ivory Coast (2015), Senegal (2016), Ethiopia (2017). It intends to reach 15 African countries by 2020. Impact to date 684 entrepreneurs involved o 542: entrepreneurs trained o 142: entrepreneurs under training (academic year 2017-18) 33%: women entrepreneurs 73%: trained entrepreneurs with a business currently in place ca. 3500: job places created in the value chain 40: African professors trained 20: African university managers trained 2

Business Networking Week in Italy The Business Networking Week in Italy (BNWI) is a networking programme that the E4Impact Foundation offers to the best entrepreneurs of the Global MBA in Impact Entrepreneurship it delivers in Africa, to African UCSC/ALTIS Alumni and to others African entrepreneurs. The BNWI intends to establish a collaboration platform between African Entrepreneurs and Italian Investors, Businesses and Startups. Participants to the BNWI will be able to: be part of an international business network between Italy and Africa acquire knowledge about entrepreneurial ecosystems and networks develop personal relations with peers overseas explore new markets and business opportunities 3

BNWI Programme The BNWI Programme will consist of the following activities: Italy-Africa Business Forum: a high level public event to introduce business opportunities between Italy and Africa Italy-Africa Venture Lab: deal-rooms and networking between African Entrepreneurs and investors, entrepreneurs, and start-uppers Exporting to EU Markets: rules, tools and strategies to export to Italy and the EU; moreover, a list of Italian importing companies Importing EU Innovation: introduction to Italian innovative technologies and analysis of financial tools to export to Africa Business cases: meetings with Italian companies/smes who manage business activities between Italy and Africa Visiting Italian Excellences: visits to Italian companies producing and exporting the best of the Made in Italy in the World Best African Entrepreneurs in Italy: guest-speech from some of the bests African entrepreneurs in Italy 4

Our Champions at BNWI Tony Nyagah MBA Nairobi, Kenya, Class 2015-2016 CEO and Co-Founder of Strauss Energy Strauss Energy A Kenyan company that proposes a solution to the energy problem by providing renewable and cost-effective energy through building integrated photo-voltaic (BIPV) technology, a revolutionary solarpowered roofing tile designed and made in Kenya. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS The tiles are 600 millimeters by 500 millimeters can each generate up to 35 watts of power at 100% efficiency Produces and sells at 25% cheaper than what the market is offering traditionally Signed a deal of more than 667 houses in 2016 and is on track to deliver 11,500 houses in 2017 Won the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (category: global innovation through science and technology) in 2015 His company was visited by Mark Zuckerberg in 2015 10

Our Champions at BNWI Denis Kimbugwe MBA Kampala, Uganda, Class 2016-2017 Founder and Director PURE PRODUCTS A market-based social venture to provide access to safe clean drinking water to the underserved and unserved urban and periurban Ugandans at an affordable price, while creating employment to the youths through water franchise kiosks and water ATMs model. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS Is employing over 50 youths and has a permanent staff of 15 people 1000 loyal customers in 2015 More than 1,000,000 liters sold in 2016 Installed 10 water ATMs in peri-urban Kampala and has 5 existing water kiosks in Kampala Developed partnerships with Connect and Growth Africa Received a UNBS certification in 2011 11
