From the WPELRA President Welcome to the 2017 Wisconsin Public Employer Labor Relations Association training conference. We have an abundance of great training sessions and networking opportunities for you. CLE credit opportunities are available as well. The Radisson Paper Valley Hotel is a wonderful facility. Be sure to review the agenda or map to locate the rooms each session will be in. The conference materials will be in electronic form and will not be provided in hard copy. Should you wish to print the information from the conference app, please do so prior to the conference so you are ready to go. The Radisson Hotel does have a business center where you may be able to print it if needed. With the help of Mike Deiters, Patrick Glynn, and Frank Matel, the NPELRA Scholarship Foundation Auction will be back with great items to be auctioned off. Be sure to join in for the cause. Should you wish to provide items to be auctioned off, please bring them with you. On your free time, be sure to check out downtown Appleton. Kathleen will share her personal experience with the workplace tragedy at her company and the lessons she learned. BREAK p4: ACTIVE Killer PRESENTATION Presented by: Detective Rick Place Grant County Sheriff s Department This session will focus on how to respond to an active killer at work by reviewing real events and getting law enforcement s perspective.
