ASSISTED LIVING CENTER AT SENDERA RANCH JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ATTENDANT Qualifications: The attendant must have sufficient education to enable the performance of daily tasks with an understanding of what is involved. Previous experience is helpful, but not essential. A full time facility attendant must be at least 18 years of age or older. ALL ATTENDANTS MUST BE ABLE TO SAFELY LIFT 50 LBS. and FOLLOW TRANSFERRING PROCEDURES OF THIS FACILITY Responsibilities: The attendant must be in the facility at all times when residents are present in the facility. Attendants may perform other duties- i.e. wash clothes, clean, wash dishes, etc.-as needed to ensure all responsibilities as met Handle and serving Residents to assure safety and comfort Working under general directions and supervision of the Manager, Assistant Manager or designated supervisor Carrying out duties and responsibilities in conformance with the established routine Duties: Under supervision the attendant is able to perform duties assuring maximum care, security and treatment of residents.
