Professional Health Policy Service and Advocacy Currently, consult with states, including Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Arkansas regarding legislative and regulatory strategies to advance nurse practitioner statutory authority 2011: Appointed to serve on Governor Cuomo s Medicaid Redesign Task Force, as the only advanced practice nurse on this committee. Successfully led efforts to place the elimination of legislative barriers to nurse practitioner practice in top 5 rank, out of 114 proposed initiatives. Community Volunteer Activity Currently, have developed and am coordinating interdisciplinary Congregational Wellness Program at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hartford, CT.
