How do you apply for an EU Grant? Open call for proposals you apply by sending: Concept Note (CN) Full Application (FA), including logframe and budget Addressing one or more of the Specific Objectives of the Calls for Proposals Applications accepted in English only
Global Objective of this Call to strengthen the role and capacities of civil society in Azerbaijan in the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms
Specific Objectives of this Call 1) To promote and protect the rights of vulnerable groups (including internally displaced persons, refugees and asylum seekers, ethnic and religious minorities, sexual minorities, children and youth, people with disabilities, the elderly, HIV/AIDS positive etc); 2) To promote and protect economic, social and cultural rights, such as, but not limited to, the right to education, health, property, adequate living standards including the right to social services; 3) To promote non-discrimination and equality, including gender equality and equality for persons belonging to minorities and vulnerable groups; 4) To promote tolerance and combat fundamentalism and violent extremism.
The Action must: Be based on a prior coordination with local stakeholders and should ensure their involvement during all the stages of the implementation of the action (this element will be evaluated in the context of section 1.2 of the Concept Note evaluation grid). Applicants are encouraged to integrate in their proposals particular value added elements such as: capacity development of CSOs and/or target groups targeting the regions outside Baku.
What is the size of a Grant?

What is the duration of the action carried out under a Grant? cannot be lower than 12 months cannot be more than 36 months
What is the location of the action carried out under a Grant? Actions must take place primarily in Azerbaijan. A limited part of the action/limited activities (up to 20%) can take place outside of Azerbaijan, under circumstances that must be justified in the application
Who can apply?
Who can apply? In order to be eligible for a grant, applicantsmust: be legal persons and be non-profit-making and be non-governmental organisations or international (inter-governmental) organisation and be established in AZ, or an EaP country, or in a member of the EU or of the European Economic Area and be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.

How many times to apply? The applicant may not submit more than one application may not be awarded more than one grant under this Call for Proposals. The applicant may be a co-applicant or an affiliated entity in another application at the same time. What can we fund?
