As urban/metropolitan institutions, Georgia Perimeter, Kennesaw State, and Georgia State enrolled the highest numbers of out-of-system transfers, many of which were nontraditional-age out-of-state transfer students relocating to Atlanta; KSU's number of out-of-system transfers was second highest. The University of Georgia attracted the highest number of transfers from institutions within the University System of Georgia; KSU enrolled the third highest number.
