A guest consultant formerly with UNICEF was fully on ground to facilitate workforce evaluation cum preview into the five year strategic planning process of the SCM of Nigeria. Chief Theophilus O. Ejiwumi started it first in Western Nigeria at the then Yaba higher college (now Yaba college of Technology) in 1940. The two SCMs East and West became one united SCM of Nigeria in 1944 after a first joint national conference at the United Missionary College, Ibadan, Oyo state.
