Eligibility Irish citizen, or EU Citizen living in the Republic of Ireland for 3+ years Demonstrate t academic & personal excellence, strong rationale for going to the US, a robust program of study, research or lecturing, strong leadership skills or potential; understanding & commitment to the ethos of being a Fulbrighter Willing to comply with the 2 year home rule Not a dual US-Irish citizen, green card holder, or currently living in the US Not have extensive experience of studying or living in the US

Generally - join the Commission s e newsletter subscription service, nominate a central point of contact for the Commission Activities consider collaborating with the Commission on events and activities with awardees and alumni Did you know thatt US citizens can apply for Fulbright Awards to visit it Ireland & Irish institutions can support these visits? For US Awards Consider funding a US Scholar / Student in future competitions or co-funding Scholars with the Commission. Minimum contributions: Student: 12k for 6 months, 18 for a full academic year Scholar: 13,500 for 3 months, 42K for a full academic year For US Specialist & Inter-country Awards consider submitting an expression of interest to host a Specialist / Inter-country Scholar when the Commission circulates its calls for application.
