AG/UF 2 + 2 AGRICULTURAL SCHOLARSHIP Partial tuition and/or books scholarship to Chipola district resident, must have high school GPA 2.5+, demonstrate community involvement, plan to major in an Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences program at the University of Florida, maintain 2.5+ GPA at Chipola, follow standard college requirements, and transfer to University of Florida. Thereafter in descending order; spouse of a veteran, child of a veteran, niece or nephew of a veteran, or grandchild of a veteran. First preference should be given to a resident of the area served by Post 100, secondly to a resident from other areas of Jackson County. ANNIE BRADWELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - Partial tuition and/or books scholarship to a graduating senior from Jackson County or a current Jackson County resident, must have a minimum 2.0 high school gpa, must maintain 2.0 gpa at Chipola and follow standard college requirements as a full-time student, applicant must be of good character and discipline, preference will be given to students with financial need and to applicants living in a Jackson County Habitat for Humanity home, and/or a student from a family volunteering with the Habitat organization. Applicants must be knowledgeable of Jackson County Habitat for Humanity and the mission of Habitat for Humanity. Top applicants may have to participate in an interview process. CALHOUN COUNTY JOB TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP Partial tuition and/or books scholarship for an economically disadvantaged individual for use in employment and job skill education and/or training, must be a resident of Calhoun County, maintain 2.5 gpa at Chipola, must be active in college and community activities, and follow standard college requirements. Applicant must have received a high school diploma or GED, have a strong desire to improve his/her ability to be a productive citizen through continuing education and improvement of job skills. COOPER-SELLERS SCHOLARSHIP Partial tuition scholarship to Marianna First United Methodist Church member, must be high school graduate, maintain 2.0+ GPA at Chipola, and follow standard college requirements. COTTONDALE POLICE DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIP Partial tuition and/or books scholarship to a Cottondale High School graduate planning to enter the Law Enforcement Academy at Chipola College. Applicants must have a 2.0 or better grade point average from high school. Applicants must be accepted into the Law Enforcement Academy at Chipola College in order to use the scholarship funds. COX FAMILY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP Partial tuition and/or books scholarship, must be a resident of Jackson County, preference given to applicants that are members of the First Baptist Church of Marianna, student must exhibit scholastic ability, good moral character and Christian living principles, must maintain 2.0+ GPA at Chipola, and follow standard college requirements. CRISP MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP Partial tuition scholarship to a resident of the Jackson County area who is pursuing an Associate of Arts degree or a Nursing degree at Chipola College. Applicants must have a financial need and a strong work ethic, must have a 2.5 or better high school gpa, and maintain a 2.5 gpa each semester at Chipola. Applicants must provide the scholarship committee with the following information: essay detailing why you want to receive this scholarship, list of high school extra-curricular activities, any college hours already obtained, employment record (if any), list any other scholarships received, two letters of recommendation, and a high school transcript mailed to the address below by the guidance counselor.
