Date: 04/06/2016 IQAC First Meeting with Stakeholders Representatives for Academic Year 206-17 1. Prof. Gilbi John IQAC coordinator welcomed the representative members of various stakeholders and requested them to provide inputs for the activities to be undertaken for the Academic Year 2016-17 2. Fr. Andrew Fernandes recommended to celebrate the year as the year of mercy and compassion and to focus the activities on promoting the spirit of mercy and compassion among the students 3. Dr. Goretti recommended the theme of the year as Youth the messengers of Mercy and Compassion.This recommendation was unanimously accepted by all present. 4. Mr.Renson Vas recommended to conduct On Campus Placement Drives to provide the students with better employment opportunities and assured the necessary assistance in organizing the drives and contacting employers and placement agencies 5. Fr.Konrad recommended to conduct Leadership Development Programmes for the students to develop Leaders for a societal transformation from materialism to socialism, and also agreed to plan and execute the activities with the assistance of scholastics from Jana Deep Vidya Peeth 6. Mr. Rony Rosario recommended to conduct programmes to increase the financial literacy among the students and to educate them on the various frauds and malpractices affecting the investors 7. Prof. Franklin Salvi recommended conducting activities focused on creating awareness on Road Safety and Traffic rules in view of the increase in the number of Road accidents of the youth and growing cases of Rash Driving. 8. Mr. Ignatius Peter suggested to organize activities to promote the importance of Physical Fitness and Exercise among the students.he informed that the fitness levels of the youth was depleting and hence the need was felt to create awareness for the same 9. Mr. Sanjay Pawar suggested the organization of programmes to educate the students on various career opportunities available to enable the students to choose the most appropriate career. 10. Mr.Renson Vas suggested conducting a special Entrepreneurial Development Programme to promote entrepreneurship among the students 11. Dr. Sushma Konde recommended to organize a Programme for Prevention And Legal Remedies for woman against Sexual Harassment at home, workplaces and in the society to empower the women to stand up for their rights. Mr. Digambar Mane supported the recommendation. 12. Prof. Yogesh Mate suggested to continue to organise Inter Religious Exchange and Inter Cultural Programme and agreed to take full responsibility for the same. His suggestion was accepted unanimously and Prof. Yogesh Mate was appointed as the Faculty Incharge to organise of the Inter Religious Exchange and Inter Cultural Programme

13. Dr.Anil Adsule suggested the organization of a workshop to promote the importance of Research among the students and to motivate them towards undertaking quality based research 14. Mr. Praphulla Gaikwad recommended conducting activities for the current students and the ALUMNI to improve the communication between the past and present students. 15. Prof. Franklin suggested conducting a Blood Donation Camp during the college hours to increase participation of the college students and creating awareness on Blood Donation among the students.the suggestion was supported by Prof.Gilbi John, the and accepted by the committee Prof. Franklin Salvi was entrusted the responsibility to organize the Blood Donation Camp. IQAC Follow up & Evaluation meeting for the first half of the Academic Year 2016-17 Date : 01/10/2016 1. Secretary IQAC Prof. Franklin Salvi presented to the committee the reports on the activities conducted during the first half of the Academic Year 2016-17. 2. Fr. Konrad congratulated the IQAC for the organization of the Leadership Development Programme for the students 3. Mr. Rony Rosario appreciated the initiative of organizing a workshop on Road Safety measures and congratulated the IQAC for realizing that this was the need of the hour. 4. Prof. Gilbi John was appreciated for his efforts in organizing the Placement drives on the campus and the committee expressed their gratitude to Mr. Renson Vas for his efforts in organizing Campus Placement. 5. Prof.Gibli John informed the IQAC that the number of activities conducted during the first half were comparatively lesser due to a shortened first term.he also gave assurance to the committee that appropriate number of activities would be conducted in the second half of the academic year 2016-17. 6. Prof. Franklin Salvi informed the members on the meeting for planning the activities during the second half of the academic year 2016-17 scheduled to be held on Saturday, 26 th November, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. Prof. Franklin Salvi Prof. Gilbi John ( Secretary IQAC) ( Co ordinator IQAC)

Date : 26/11/2016 IQAC meeting for planning the Activities during the second half of the academic year 2016-17 1. Prof. Gilbi John suggested cancellation of THARSEO on account of the Demonetization Policy of the Government of India leading to unavailability of funds from the banks for conducting the activity of magnitude. 2. The committee accepted the suggestion made by Prof. Gilbi John and decided to put off THARSEO for the year 2016-17. 3. Secretary of IQAC -Prof. Franklin presented to the IQAC the recommendations made by the various stakeholders at the beginning of the academic year. 4. Mr. Renson Vas assured to conduct a workshop on the topics of How to Draft an effective Resume & How to face an Interview. 5. Prof. Franklin suggested to organize the Blood Donation on 10 th February,2017 to celebrate the Savitribai Phule Pune University Foundation Day.He also recommended to conduct the programme in collaboration with Sassoon General Hospital, the suggestion was unanimously accepted by all present. 6. Prof.Gilbi John suggested the organizing of a Joy of Giving week, a week where students would bring donations in kind which would be collected and donated to an NGO working for the well being and serving the marginalized, he also suggested to conduct the out reach programme at MAHER ASHRAM. The suggestion was accepted on consensus. 7. Prof Yogesh Mate informed the organization of the Inter religious Exchange Programme scheduled to be organized in the month of February after receiving the sanction of funds by Savitribai Phule Pune University. 8. Ms. Lizan Mendonca suggested organizing a programme for Health and Hygiene Awareness for the fellow female students. 9. Dr.Anil Adsule recommended to organize the Annual Prize Distribution Day on Saturday 11 th March, 2017.The recommendation was accepted by the committee. 10. Mr.Sanjay Pawar suggested to organize a PTA meet before the Annual Examination, to apprise the parents of their child s performance and progress. The suggestion was agreed to and Prof. Gilbi John and Prof. Franklin Salvi were entrusted with the responsibility of organization of the PTA meet. 11. Prof. Franklin informed the IQAC on the upcoming activities planned by Rotary Club of POONA and Rotaract club of St.Vincent.i.e.

Picnic For the Deaf and Dumb Children Picnic for Senior Citizens from the home for aged Social Outreach Programme 12. Dr. Goretti Gonsalves suggested conduct of a seminar on Demonetization to educate the students on the concept of Demonetization and its need and impact on the economy, Prof. Gibli John agreed to undertake the responsibility for the same. 13. Mr Ignatius Peter expressed his willingness to assist the college football team and coach the students for the upcoming Football tournament.his cooperation was highly appreciated by the IQAC Prof. Franklin Salvi Prof. Gilbi John Dr.Anil Adsule ( Secretary IQAC) ( Co ordinator IQAC) (Principal)

Date : 01/05/2017 IQAC Follow-up and Evaluation meeting for the Academic Year 2016-17 1. Dr. Anil Adsule IQAC Chairman welcomed members of IQAC and congratulated them for their contribution towards the college and expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the IQAC in the enhancement of the college activities 2. Secretary IQAC Prof. Franklin Salvi presented to the committee the recommendations given by the stakeholders at the beginning of the academic year and the Action Taken Report (ATR) which reflected the implementation of the recommendations. 3. The following feedback were received i. Mr.Sanjay Pramar expressed his gratitude to the IQAC on behalf of the PTA for the organization of a PTA meet to inform the parents on their child s Progress ii. Mr.Rony Rosario expressed his satisfaction with regards to the various career guidance initiatives and activities aimed at promoting Financial Literacy among the students iii. Pro.Franklin Salvi was appreciated for his initiative to organize the Blood Donation Camp as a part of which the college could contribute 70 units of blood to the Blood Bank of Sassoon General Hospital. iv. Prof. Yogesh Mate presented his reports on the Inter Religious Exchange and Inter State Cultural Exchange Programme. In his report he stated that the pogramme was sponsored by Savitribai Phule Pune Univesity. Prof.Yogesh Mate was appreciated for his efforts in the mobilization of the funds and organization of the Exchange programme v. Prof. Gilbi John recommended to conduct Four IQAC meetings each year.i.e. one meeting each at the beginning and commencement of each term to planning and evaluation and two meetings with the Stakeholder representatives i.e. one meeting at the beginning and commencement of the Academic Year, to ensure more efficiency vi. Dr. Anil Adsule recommended entrusting the Faculty with the responsibility of assisting the IQAC for the execution of the recommendations and decisions made during the meetings of IQAC and Stakeholders. vii. The suggestions made by Dr.Anil Adsule and Prof. Gilbi John were unanimously accepted by all present. viii. Dr. Adsule appreciated the efforts of the IQAC towards promoting research for the Post Graduate students and for providing guidance to the students for undertaking quality research.
