WARFIGHTER FOCUSED Training Systems

Advanced Training Systems for the Warfighter Kratos exhibits the knowledge and skills to put together a lifecycle training program to support your specific training needs. From concept development of an innovative training device to upgrading a legacy training system, Kratos has earned its reputation as a leading training solutions provider for ground, air and sea platforms. Shrinking budgets, tighter grip on procurement dollars, and next generation learning methodologies are forcing the Armed Forces to look at training in new and innovative ways. In the past, most training began in the classroom, then on to a computer-based training course and then finally on to a full-scale training system. With new budget and time UH-60 Black Hawk Avionics Trainer (BHAT) Kratos has designed and engineered many training systems for the UH-60 including a full size maintenance trainer consisting of a high fidelity, full size cockpit, cabin area and transition section all mounted on a wheeled platform for mobility. The BHAT glass cockpit is also equipped with simulated instruments, pilot and copilot seats and controls, center console and overhead panels. The BHAT supports all the critical tasks necessary to train MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) 15N10/30 Avionics Mechanics. restraints it can be more effective to mix the uses of these devices to create the most efficient and cost effective training program available for the Warfighter.

Kratos maximizes return on investment and lowers total ownership costs for your procurement dollars by delivering powerful training solutions to achieve optimal performance of the Warfighter. Kratos offers solutions across the entire training continuum, providing your team with the right level of fidelity and training methods for your mission. Interactive Multimedia: Creating engaging and visually striking solutions Blended Training: Developing cutting-edge solutions that blend computer-based and physical controls Training Devices: Meeting your specific training needs with high fidelity Part- and Full-Task training devices Instructor-Led Training: Subject matter experts and certified technical training instructors Assuring Performance Outcomes A Kratos Front-End Analysis helps you identify performance gaps and determine optimal interventions or solutions. Our research-based methodologies create the best mix of media at the right time to ensure maximum return on investment and lowest total ownership cost for your training dollars.

Design and Development Kratos has been recognized as an industry leader in designing, engineering and manufacturing some of the most effective, state-of-theart and reliable training systems used by the modern Warfighter. As platforms advance, training systems must advance with them. We design and develop both Part-and Full-Task trainers to meet your specific training needs using the most advanced and cost effective methods available. We ensure the best use of your procurement dollars while providing the most effective training. In addition we also employ resident Subject Matter Experts that provide a broad range of applicable military and tactical platform knowledge complementing our selective mix of seasoned professionals Manufacturing Manufacturing professionals combine craftsmanship with cuttingedge technology to manufacture training systems that set a new standard. Kratos employs some of the most advanced engineering and manufacturing professionals in the workforce. Our staff includes mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to support hardware design, system integration and testing. Sustainment Understanding of legacy training systems allows us to offer refurbishment and upgrades to a variety of devices. These modifications range from the enhancement or replacement of isolated components and subsystems, to the complete upgrade and refurbishment of cockpit avionics of fullflight simulators. Expertise in systems engineering enables us to identify and utilize the latest advancements in technology to ensure the optimum solution customized for your system. M1A1 SA Abrams & M1A2 SEP v2 Maintenance Trainers The M1A1 Situation Awareness and M1A2 System Enhancement Package Version 2 are full fidelity trainers supporting the turret-related maintenance training of the military occupational specialty 63A, M-1 Abrams Tank System Maintainer. Kratos fully replicated the M1A1 SA & M1A2 SEP v2 Abrams turret, turret components, including FBCB2 and Blue Force Tracking, and sufficient portions of the hull, to provide a high fidelity, immersive environment for maintenance training. The M1A1 SA & M1A2 SEP v2 Abrams Hands On Trainers are concurrent with the M1 Abrams main battle tank transition from analog vehicle monitoring instruments to fully digital warfighting system diagnostics, and dynamic multi-channel visual system to the Forward-Looking Infra-Red (FLIR) and Far Target sensors. M1A2 SEP v2 Abrams

CH-47 Chinook Avionics Trainer (CAT) The CAT is a high fidelity student station that provides full task training through simulation of all avionics systems in fully integrated configuration within a fully immersive physical environment. The CAT replicates the aircraft interior and exterior spaces with a simulation of all Line Replaceable Units necessary to support the 15N10 Avionics Mechanics program of instruction. The CAT provides for training of specific tasks such as system and subsystem familiarization, component identification, servicing tasks and inspections, Maintenance Operational Checks, fault isolation procedures, and remove and install tasks. Chinook Avionics Trainer Life-Saving Training for Crews Kratos develops training solutions help ensure that crews are optimally trained and ready for many different life-saving tasks. Our Medical Suite Trainer is the first handson operational and functional solution for air ambulance missions supporting full-crew interactions so teammates know how to work together effectively; and our Static Hoist Trainer teaches aircrewmen the coordination skills necessary to use the hoist during vertical replenishment, rescue operations, Helicopter In Flight Rescue, vertical rappelling and more. UH-60Q Static Hoist Trainer UH-60 Landing Gear Trainer (LGT) Kratos designed and developed these full-sized maintenance trainers for training and evaluating utility helicopter repair personnel in fault isolation and maintenance of UH-60 landing gear and associated subsystems. The LGT incorporates both the pilot s and copilot s yaw controls and seats, thus enabling students to perform applicable remove and replace tasks and bleed the brake system. Fully functional jack pads, located as on the aircraft enable the left main landing gear, right main landing gear, and tail landing gear to be independently jacked, and also support jacking of the entire trainer. UH-60 Medical Suite Trainer Blended Devices Kratos Blended Devices are a unique combination of computer based training and replicated physical controls all within an immersive physical environment. These devices help students advance along the training continuum by providing a cost effective bridge between Computer Based Training and Part-or Full-Task trainers. With a simple software change these devices are easily reconfigured to a variety of subsystems and platforms. MBRAT Reconfigurable Virtual Maintenance Trainer
