Community Transformers Community Transformer Trainings 53 of 111 ROSE Community Transformers are in CHAMPS target areas 15 Community Transformers Receive training on providing mother- to- mother breasceeding support Serve as a local and accessible resource on breasceeding support Lead gatherings called breasceeding clubs Serves as an advocate for the community Maternity Prac1ces 8

Why Community Transformers? The community MUST be engaged for change to occur. This is a RELAY race. To effec-vely orchestrate change, we must con-nue to learn from and be engaged with those from within the community Listen and Learn Advancing Change Establishing rela-onships between the community and hospitals seeking Baby- Friendly Designa-on par-cularly in the South Educa-ng our communi-es on the importance of the 10 Steps associated with Baby Friendly Hospitals.
