PL115-123 SUPPLEMENTAL DISASTER RESPONSE Public Law 115-123 provides $17.398 billion to USACE for disaster recovery for: Investigations, Construction, Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies, Mississippi River and Tributaries, Expenses Initial allocation of ~$360 million for Operation & Maintenance (O&M) has been released and will address highest priority damages and shoaling as a result of natural disasters Current List of Projects Identified http://www.usace.army.mil/missions/civil-works/budget/ 31 projects in 11 states: Florida Projects included on this list are Canaveral Harbor, Central & Southern Florida, Jacksonville Harbor, Manatee Harbor, Miami Harbor, Palm Beach and Tampa Harbors All other appropriations and potential additional O&M supplemental projects will be identified and announced at a later date POC: Mike Rogalski Updated: 7 May 2018

11 CONTINUING AUTHORITIES PROGRAM (CAP) OVERVIEW 9 legislative authorities under which the Corps is authorized to plan, design, and construct certain water resources projects These authorities are targeted at small to mid-size projects specifically developed to aid municipalities, counties and nonfederal agencies Local sponsor cost share amount* varies per authority and work in kind is available * Per WRDA 2014, certain territories of the United States, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, are eligible for a CAP program cost-sharing reduction - CAP projects with feasibility phase agreements or construction contracts executed on or after June 10, 2014, are eligible for waivers up to $455,000.
