Cabin Interphone Calls 1. Cabin Ready - non-voice call to notify the flight crew that the cabin is secured takeoff and/or landing - CABIN READY message will appear on the EICAS display on flight deck for 60 seconds with a single HI/LO chime on the flight deck - Caller hears a rapid beep-beep to acknowledge a successful call and a dial tone 2. Net Calls (3-way and 4-way) Crew is able to add a third or fourth handset location to an active call. Step 1 Establish two-way call with another handset station Step 2 Enter the dial code of another station to add that station to the ongoing call. Step 3 Once a third station is added, one additional station may be added in the same way

Cabin Interphone Calls 3. Call Transfer Crew can transfer a call to another handset location. Step 1 Establish two-way call and enter the dial code of desired transfer station. Step 2 Once the dialed station answers, push the RESET button or replace the handset in the cradle to complete the transfer. 4. Remote Answering Crew can answer a call from a different handset than the one being called. - Enter the dial code of station being called. The call light at the other location will be extinguished. Note: It is not possible to remote answer a call to the flight deck.

Passenger Address (PA) Dial 46 Handset position for PA Announcements 1. Place cabin handset directly in front of crew and angled at 45-90 degrees 2. The microphone should be 1 inch or less away from the crew s mouth. This position ensures only intended audio is sensed by the microphone and broadcast over the PA system. 3. Announcements should be made facing the cabin with back against the corner of the door/partition where the handset is located. 4. Crew should avoid leaning into the aisle while making PA announcements to prevent damage to the handset ethernet cord.

Window Dimming Control Switch Door CANNOT be controlled from the CAP Independent of the other door windows Only 2 states - Darkened or Clear - Darkened state: Blue LED illuminates - Clear state: LED NOT illuminated If normal electrical power is lost - Automatically becomes clear If one side of the control switch fails, Pushing on the functioning side for 10 seconds. E.g. If the window is fully dimmed and the clear window function fails, hold down the window dimming side of the switch for 10 seconds.
