Scientific studies convincingly show that letter perfect CPR, minimal breaks in compressions, full recoil, adequate depth, and adequate compression rate are all factors that can increase survival from cardiac arrest. HP-CPR teaches you how to incorporate these critical factors and helps guide you to a more successful resuscitation. These critical decision making findings are often assessed in a cursory manner that may lead to improper decision making. Virtuosity in vital-taking will help providers make proper decisions in providing care to their patients. The course will cover what an ausculatory gap is, Korotkoff sounds you should be familiar with, the importance of laminar flow and how to apply a proper tilt test.
