Section 23 of the National Conventional Arms Control Act, (Act 41 of 2002) as amended provides that the National Conventional Arms Control Committee (NCACC) must table before Parliament an annual report on all controlled items transfers conducted during the preceding calendar. In accordance with this legislative requirement, the NCACC wishes to present this 2014 Annual Report to the National Assembly. 2. This 2014 Annual Report provides information on controlled items exports, imports and conveyances authorised by South Africa over the period 01 January to 31 December 2014. The Annual Report presents this information in a manner consistent with the provisions of the Act as amended in conjunction with its attendant Regulations. To that end, the following information is covered by the report: a. Controlled items regulation statistics. b. Exports authorised. c. Imports authorised.
