Session Alfa : 12.00 17.30 Tuesday 13 September 2016: Arrivals & registration Opening Run-through of the program Security Policies from a Scandinavian perspective by the Swedish Defence Armed Forces Headquarters Nammo s Dim Trace / IR ammunition solutions Mission specific training with short Arrivals, registration and welcome to the 14 th MP Symposium & Live Fire Demonstrations at the Nammo Raufoss Test Center. Formal opening by the CEO of Nammo and the Mayor of the Raufoss Community. Quick review of the program, topics, logistics, firing range safety instructions, and relevant information prior to start of the program. Briefing by Capability Section, Policy and Plans department, Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters. The Armed Forces Headquarters, is the highest level of command in the Swedish Armed Forces. Its primary task is to command operations, but HQ is also involved in areas such as military strategy, the overall development of the Armed Forces, and acting as a channel of contact with the government. To a large extent, today s combat units are using Night Vision Devices [NVD s] to enable stealthy night combat operations. Nammo has met that requirement with the development of the latest IR/Dim Trace technology. This tracer is totally invisible to the naked eye which solves several operational combat obstacles, giving the user clear advantages in stealth combat scenarios. Wednesday 14 September 2016: Session Bravo : 09.00 11.30 F35 Lightning II 25 mm & 27 mm APEX & RRR Scalable Hand Grenades Nammo s Airburst Solutions The M72 Shoulder Fired System: Past, Present & Future Briefing by USAF F35 pilot focusing on the capabilities of the F35. Nammo develops what we believe to be the ammunition of choice for the F35 Lightning II and the Saab Gripen NG Briefing on Nammo s successful development and qualification of the scalable hand grenade concept. Nammo s combat proven airburst technology is being flowed down to multiple calibers. E.g. 40 mm Airburst, 30 mm Airburst, and 120 mm Multi-Purpose The M72 shoulder fired weapon system has been in use by many armed forces for 50 years. Nammo will inform you of the historical, current and future developments of this highly successful weapon system. Enabling hopefully the next 50 years of service. A highly capable a/c deserves highly capable training- and wartime Nammo will provide insight in the lethality and effects on target from its APEX And the advantages of the RRR training ammunition concept. Scalable hand grenades provide a possibility to adapt the destructiveness to different situations. Nammo will provide insight in the development of the RF controlled AB concept and the flow-down advantages to other calibers requiring minimal modifications to almost any weapon platform. / HEI-T, M72 AB, M72 ASM. 12.30-13.30 Lunch, including possibility for our guests to fire some of our ammunition Session Charlie : 13.30 15.30 Light Weight Ammunition Solutions 30 mm Nammo portfolio developments The DSTL UK Swimmer program The threat of swarming drones Nammo s 155 mm program Together with partners, Nammo is developing several lightweight ammunition solutions. Nammo continuously develops its extensive portfolio of 30mm DSTL in the UK has together with the US Navy been Nammo s partner in developing the 30mm APFSDS-T Mod 1 Swimmer. The threat of small UAV s or drones and particularly swarming drones is a new and highly likely future scenario. At the 13 th MP Symposium & Live Fire Demonstrations in 2014, Nammo informed about the development program for our new 155mm ammunition range. Nammo will provide the latest status of these developments. During this brief, Nammo will inform about the successful qualification of new additions to the portfolio. During this briefing DSTL will inform on the next target acquisition and defeat scenarios. Nammo will inform the audience of the cooperation with the Norwegian Army and Kongsberg on developing possible solutions to counter these threats. Nammo will provide updated information on the current qualification status and weapon system compatibility. 15.45 17.00: Live Firing Session Selection of ammuntion to be demonstrated 30 mm APFSDS-T Mod 1 Swimmer, 30 mm PSRTA, 12,7 mm Sniper ammunition, lightweight ammunition solutions, 40mm AB, 155 mm IM HE-ER.

Thursday 15 September 2016: Session Delta : 09.00 12.00 40 mm LV Door Breach Nammo s 120 mm MBT portfolio Nammo s AP technology 120 mm Mortar Ammunition Nammo s Reduced Range technology & products Future Developments Summary of the 14 th MP Symposium Nammo has developed a highly capable 40 mm LV Door Breach round. Nammo has been very successful with its new 120 mm IM HE-T and IM TP-T Nammo will demonstrate and present the world-class armor piercing ammunition concepts. With basis on new, more automated mortar systems, Nammo has developed a new range of 120 mm mortar Efficient training with larger calibers on smaller ranges with shorter danger zones is cost effective. Nammo will demonstrate and present the capabilities of our Reduced Range A brief insight in some future developments that Nammo is working on. Summary & closing of the 14 th MP Symposium & Live Fire Demonstrations. Nammo will inform about the application and effects of this round. Nammo has continued to develop our 120mm portfolio and will brief about the new APFSDS-T and the new Multipurpose 120mm round. The standard armor piercing ammunitions specifications are many years old. Nammo has developed new, much more capable solutions.
