This revision of the 1964-65 University Calendar is recommended by the Committee to correct a difficult problem of conflict. The final examination oerlod for the first semest er of the 1964 65 Calendar,. which was approved by the Faculty Senate on Narch 19 9 1964, conflicts with four basketball games. These games had been scheduled according to the 1964-65 University Calendar approved by the Faculty Senate on March 14, 1963 and published in the 1963 University Catalog., No conflict existed at that time. The revi sed 1964-65 Calendar, presented in section A, above, largely correct s the examination period basketball conflict by l engthening the fall semester, thus moving t he examinat ion period later into the calendar year by ~ few days.
