This year s strain has proven to not only be deadly to the young and older, but also to the healthy. If cases of the flu develop, we will invoke our protocol. We have found isolation of all residents, activities postponed, and meals taken to rooms is the best way to stop the spread of this contagious virus. For those who are sick, we will mask, continue to glove, and robe for protection before going into an affected resident s room. Our staff have cleaning supplies to keep hand rails and all doors sanitized. I am asking families that have been exposed to someone with fever or upper respiratory symptoms, please postpone your visit to Regency. Our staff at Regency is vigilant in protecting your loved ones. Please continue to check our monthly newsletter and calendars for all upcoming events. Jennie Spraggins, Executive Director February 24 Mexican Flag Day Regency Retirement Village of Jackson

Once every six years, February is the only month that has four, full seven-day weeks. The word February comes from the word februa which means purification and cleansing, adapted from the Roman Festival of Purification, a pre-spring ritual. Welcome New Residents!
