About Leadership Lake Havasu Leadership Lake Havasu (LLH), fka Havasu Leadership Development (HLD) began in 1999 2000 when community leaders realized a need for leadership training in Lake Havasu City. They asked the chamber to develop a program that would inspire participants to grow as leaders while learning more about their community and its issues and challenges, and how they as leaders could become change agents. The LLH program is an intensive 9-month series of programs that investigate various leadership issues and obstacles that may stunt personal and professional growth, and offers training and solutions through deep-dive lectures and activities.
