Community Fundraiser Job information pack The Oliver King Foundation
Our mission is to save as many young lives as possible by ensuring that no other family has to suffer a similar loss to that of Oliver King.
The Oliver King Foundation: Since January 2012 The Oliver King Foundation has placed over 800 Defibrillators in schools and communities across the UK - training 15,000 people in emergency first aid. To date 9 lives have been saved. All Schools in Merseyside have access to a lifesaving defibrillator. We have successfully campaigned for Government to change policy that now recommends all schools purchase a lifesaving defibrillator. The Foundation is currently going through a period of change, having had a very successful start, changing Government policy - building relationships at senior levels, and receiving awards from the Prime Minister and local newspapers. On the next stage for the Foundation we are determined to secure legislation so that we can tackle head on the shocking statistic that 82 people will suffer a cardiac arrest today, and only 8 will survive.
