See the DDGM s message. Proud to be a Mason Patrick C. Palmer, 32 K C C H I am a Free and Accepted Mason. I make this statement proudly, because since the day that my eyes beheld the beauty nestled within her bosom, from the moment that her profound mysteries were revealed unto me, my soul has been nurtured and blessed and I have become a better person. Mar 6 Mar 10 Mar 25 Mar 27 Mar 31 Degree Work Entered Apprentice Degree - Seminole Lodge Fellowcraft Degree - West Broward Lodge Entered Apprentice Degree - Coral Springs Lodge Entered Apprentice Degree - Roe Fellowcraft Degree - Seminole Lodge I am a Free and Accepted Mason. I state it proudly, because I have traversed that checkered floor, indicative of the complexity of human life. In so doing, I have traced the footsteps of kings and presidents, prime ministers and philosophers, statesmen and diplomats, clergymen and laymen, aristocrats and common men such as myself, who traveled that way before. I am a Free and Accepted Mason. I declare it with pride, because I have assiduously endeavored to inculcate into my life the didactic lessons that have been so adamantly taught me in my journey though the degrees of Freemasonry. In so doing, not only has my life been enriched, the lives of my family and friends have also been enhanced. I am a Free and Accepted Mason. I proclaim it proudly, because I am a member of a fraternity that steadfastly continues to embrace the solid principles upon which it was built, thereby surviving the onslaught of adversaries who have attempted to bring it down. I am a Free and Accepted Mason. I state it proudly, because Freemasonry has augmented my religion, not replaced it. It has nurtured my belief in God, my allegiance to my country and my devotion to my family. I am a member of the largest and oldest fraternity in the world. Freemasonry summons its members from diverse countries, cultures, and religions; uniting them into one common band of brothers. I have found in Freemasonry a brotherhood that is strong and a unity that is enduring. Freemasonry has inspired me to live by higher ideals, to strive for nobler aspirations and has done more to make me a better man than any creed could have done. I call to your attention the Legislative Meeting at the Lake Worth Valley of the Scottish Rite on April 2, 2003. I urge all Masters and Wardens to attend so that you may acquaint yourselves with the Resolutions to be presented at Grand Lodge in May. The issues will be discussed and hopefully all questions answered regarding these issues. The meeting will begin at 7:30 P.M. This is the Zone 9 meeting and some of us have attended the Zone 10 meetings in the past, but this year the Zone 10 meeting will be held in Homestead. That's a "purty fer peice" to drive. I remind any Brother who plans to attend Grand Lodge on May 26, 27 & 28th to make your reservations at the Rosen Plaza Hotel Now. The phone number is: 1-800-627-8258 and the rate is $77.00 per night. Ask for the Florida Masonic Grand Lodge rate. My remaining official visits are as follows: 4, Doric Lodge, 13, J Dewey Hawkins Lodge, April 10, Pompano Lodge, April 24 Eureka Lodge, and May 1, Roe Lodge. I hope to see all of you there. May GOD S Blessings be yours. Fraternally R W Ray Williams District Deputy Grand Master CHAIRMAN S MESSAGE Brothers: By the reading of this message, Fiesta Tropicale will I hope be a fond memory. I want to thank all of those who spent their time and energies to promote our fraternity. As we all know, no organization or society can be a success without a coordinated effort. The members of the board have already begun the planning for Grand Lodge, M&W's Annual Picnic and Octoberfest. If you have any suggestions for events or gatherings, attend a meeting and bring it before the membership. Also, due to the blizzard that occurred in the Northeast, many of the people who we had anticipated to fish our Bass tournament, were called away to assist in that clean-up effort. I will be discussing the possibility of rescheduling the event to April 12th. Thanks to those who drove long distances to help at 4 A.M.!! Lastly, support your brothers and their families. May the Great Architect keep us and our entire nation in his protective care. Fraternally, Phil Slack, Chairman
