We created a site that we envisioned to be easy to understand, use, and from which individuals and business would derive benefit. We wanted it to be highly interactive, streamlined, visual, and able to adapt to a range of devices from mobile to personal computers. We held thirteen feedback webinar sessions to demonstrate the functionality and obtain opinions from workforce professionals and community members. Page 1 of 22

Summary Each of the one-hour sessions occurred over a two-week period during business hours to allow the most participation and feedback. We invited workforce professionals and partners to attend, as well as community members. The webinars followed a format that included: An opening PowerPoint presentation included: The purpose of the website, The anticipated timeline, and Format of the webinar. Demonstration of each section as listed below. After each section demonstration, a series of polling questions were presented to the attendees to gauge Great, Good, or Bad impression of the segment, and Very Important, Important or Not Important of the components included in that segment. In general, the audience felt that the changes to the new beta website were very positive. They enjoyed the new appearance and cleanliness of the website. Page 2 of 22

Main Menu Review We showed attendees the pattern of the main menu that includes: The first items in each menu are interactive items that users can access and/or save results. The last three items in each menu is consistent across all the menus and include: o NICHE content or blog items, o Videos related to the menu topic, and o Keyword searchable resources. Training and Credentials Menu Review We reviewed the menu item that includes resources and tools to plan and participate in training opportunities and connect to financial support to become qualified in your career field. The menu sections include: Training Programs Adult Education Apprenticeship Employer Training Programs Planning for Training Videos Resources Additional feedback for this section includes: Like that flyers can be printed. Access to Training Provider report card. Adult advancement is really adult remedial. Don t use jargon. Scorecard for providers track record. Page 12 of 22

Job Openings and Recruiting Menu Review This menu provides resources and tools to help job seekers get a job and to help employers recruit and hire. Qualify for Jobs Menu Review This demonstration included the section that provides resources and tools to get real life experiences and understand employer expectations to prepare a jobseeker how to demonstrate their experiences, skills, and credentials that qualify the jobseeker for a job. News and updates doesn t fit this section. Success stories don t fit this section. Trade associations instead of student and trade associations. Can local areas add associations? Overall Impression and Closing Comments Additional Feedback Included: Looking forward to the changes. Good to see social media section and resources to attach to our own sites. Like addition of pictures and illustrations. How will data be entered for an area? How to use this website video on homepage. More clean and concise logically organized. Like individuals dashboard, explore careers and job openings. Huge amount of information - complex for new users. Easier to find items on the website. So much information - overwhelming - confusing for customers not familiar with program Customers don't like to read. Overall better than current, daily customers will not use this site except for state wide list. Videos translated also. Reading level may be advanced. Great tool for people who are indecisive on future. Consider reaching out to ISBE to present to students beginning 10th grade. More links to the admin dashboard. Like access to Illinois JobLink from this site, hopefully someday individual will have one username and password for both sites. Page 22 of 22
