HISTORICAL NOTE Louisiana State University's Fall Fest, an annual event begun in 1994, was planned by the Rekindle the Spirit Steering Committee in an attempt to reenergize the morale and positive feelings that people held for the university. It had been held every fall semester in the Quadrangle, but in recent years has been held on the Parade Ground. The event includes refreshments, information tables on campus organizations, and live entertainment by the Tiger Band, the LSU Cheerleaders, and others. Some of the food, money, and other items needed to produce Fall Fest are donated by area businesses and individuals; the remainder is provided by the University. SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE Contains posters, fliers, brochures, t-shirts, and informational CDs distributed by student organizations, honor societies, campus religious groups, academic departments, libraries, student services, and local businesses at selected Fall Fests between 1994 and 2007.
