The Library Board of Trustees is proud to be overseeing the upgrading of these bathrooms into modern, ADA-compliant facilities, thanks to a Community Development Block Grant administered by the City of Elizabeth Dept of Planning & Community Development, and our own Library resources. Our 4th floor bathrooms are being made available during this renovation. Facility improvements continue at LaCorte, where we have created a more open and accessible location for our public computers, and where we hope soon to install new carpeting. And, thanks to our hardworking Maintenance Dept, the parking lot at Main has been repaired, patched and relined, in anticipation of winter s ice and snow! The County Free- holder Board has awarded the Elizabeth Public Library $19,000 in library grants for various purchases, programming and enhancements throughout the past three years.
