STUDENTS HONORED AT ACADEMIC AWARDS NIGHT by Scott Saunders, Principal The 2015-2016 Sundre High School Academic Awards Night was held on Friday, September 30. More than 120 current and former students were honored for their scholastic achievements from the 2015-2016 school year. Staff members and representatives from a variety of local organizations presented honor roll scrolls, subject awards, scholarships, and special awards throughout the ceremony. More than $30,000 worth of scholarships, awards, and bursaries were handed out. Caden Surbey was recognized as the top grade 12 scholar and was awarded the Governor General s Bronze Medallion. and Keyanna St. Dennis were named Sr. High and Grade Nine Students of the Year respectively. Mrs. Tracy Wilson, and the Sundre High School band provided musical entertainment. A list of the students that were honored appears below. We appreciate this opportunity to recognize these students as leaders and scholars.
