Provide direct assistance to veterans returning home from war through our Heroes to Hometowns program. This community-based program connects veterans with the services they need within their own communities. We also help them understand and access VA benefits they earned, while helping to appeal disability claims. Protect the children of military families with The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund. Providing for the education of children whose mother or father made the ultimate sacrifice in war is our moral duty. These are just a few of the programs made possible by good people like you. And every gift you make to The American Legion is tax-deductible. You can count on this: We are duty-bound to America s veterans and active-duty military!
