Our providers have been selected for the year and most reservabons have already been secured. This is a great year to volunteer for this job, since most of it is already done! Openings 2018-19 School Year Corresponding Secretary (Board-level posi6on) This posibon retrieves and reports on any incoming PTA correspondence. The person in this posibon also purchases and delivers staff recognibon cards, as needed.this is a minimum one year, board-level commitment that requires a PTA vote. Family Bingo & Silent Auc6on Coordinator Have you enjoyed our Bingo & Silent AucBon night? Please help us keep this event going by volunteering as the event coordinator. Help solicit donabons for the aucbon, plan fun bingo prizes, and run the event. Grab a friend or two to make the job easy. This is a event planning job that requires a moderate amount of work leading up to the night. Family Movie Night Coordinator Have you enjoyed our Family Movie Nights? Step up and help coordinate one movie experience. Distribute/process Bcket order forms, promote movie, plan concessions, and host evening at school. This is one-bme job that requires a moderate amount of work. Restaurant Night Out Coordinator Plan monthly restaurant fundraisers. Contact restaurants either by email or in person. Coordinate distribubon of flyers and shirt labels. This requires a minimalmoderate amount of Bme throughout the school year. Spelling Bee Coordinator This is a one-bme event posibon. The Spelling Bee Coordinator plans the yearly Bee in conjuncbon with administrabon and staff. This person also reviews and enforces rules and regulabons at the yearly Spelling Bee. This is a one-bme job (Bee usually is held in February) that requires a low to moderate amount of work. 1

Fall/winter events-- Grandparents' Day, the Halloween parade, the Halloween Disco, Veterans' Day, fall restaurant nights, assemblies, any holiday parbes, band/orchestra winter concerts, the Spelling Bee, Career Day, and STEAM Day--are especially needed. THES PTA Sponsored After School Sports & Games Class in the Thunder Hill Elementary Gym Learning skills through fun games and drills!!!! Each week we will focus on a new sport & game in a fun, non-competitive, atmosphere centered on team concepts, good sportsmanship and encouraging the kids to do their individual best. Our goal is to keep each student moving and having fun during each class.
