RFP documents were issued via email on 9/1. 2. Requirements for Eligibility to Bid: i. Bonding Requirements (based on project budget estimates, bonding must cover bidders final dollar amount of bid). ii. Insurance Requirements (refer to project notification). iii. Must attend mandatory pre-proposal meeting and be on time. iv. All addendums released by DPS Strategic Sourcing must be acknowledged. v. Must have completed at least three projects utilizing the CM/GC delivery method. vi. Must have completed at least one project of similar complexity and scope at 80% of the value of this project, which is about $8.5 million. vii. In addition to that project, must have completed at least three projects with a final construction cost equal to 50% of the value of this project, or $5.3 million. viii. F. Scope of work summary for Swansea Elementary School Additions, Remodeling, and Improvements: a. DPS Bond Funded Work: Includes correcting selected building code deficiencies, converting open plan areas, including classrooms and library, to fixed walls, including doorways, and renovation/repair of flooring, ceilings, and walls, and making some ADA-Related Improvements b. CDOT Funded Work: Includes reconfiguring the site, including parking, drives, landscape, playgrounds, and play fields, adding a two-classroom sized addition, replacing the exterior doors and windows, replacing the HVAC system, relocating the main entry and administrative offices from the west to east, and remodeling the central courtyard. G. Design Schedule 1. DAG Meetings/Schematic Design: September 4 to October 15, 2015 2. Design Development: October 31 to December 15, 2015 3. 95% Construction Documents: January 1 to February 15, 2016 4. 100% Construction Documents: March 1 to April 1, 2016 H. Construction Schedule 1.
