Members will conduct the annual business of NRTC, including board elections. Proposed Resolutions Forum: Hosted by the National Resolutions Committee Hyatt Regency Orlando Hotel 4:00 5:00 p.m. If you missed your Regional Meeting, or if you re just wondering what happens next for member resolutions, here s another chance to make your co-op s voice heard. The National Resolutions Committee will answer questions about the proposed resolutions that voting delegates will consider at the NRECA Annual Member Business Meeting. Throughout the 2014 Regional Meetings, co-ops have been debating resolutions on topics like ethanol and biofuels. The Proposed Resolutions Forum is a chance to learn how co-ops opinions and amendments from all 10 regions have been consolidated into a set of proposed resolutions. Upon approval, these represent the will of the NRECA membership. Voting delegates will cast final votes on the resolutions at the business meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. NRECA CEO Jo Ann Emerson will deliver her address to the Annual Meeting audience. Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Annual Meeting Business Meeting The sole purpose of Touchstone Energy Cooperatives is to work with member cooperatives to help them engage with their member-owners. At our annual meeting, learn from brand leaders, celebrate the power of the network now 750 strong, and get energized about your vital role in bringing the cooperative difference to life. Be sure your co-op s voting delegate attends this session! The NRECA Annual Member Business Meeting is the place to make your co-op s voice heard on important public policy issues. The business meeting begins with the call to order by NRECA President Curtis Nolan. Voting delegates cast votes on proposed resolutions including those debated during the fall 2014 Regional Meetings. Resolutions approved at this session help guide NRECA s activities and principles for the following year. Also, NRECA Secretary-Treasurer Phil Carson reports on the financial status of NRECA. Mike Bird, Vice President of Safety and Loss Prevention, will discuss improvements in education, active involvement of senior cooperative management, and Federated s partnership with Statewides and NRECA in providing an increased safety focus on a national basis. Entertainment Night The Midtown Men: Four Stars from the Original Broadway Cast of Jersey Boys 7:30 p.m. Bring your dancing shoes and cut loose on Entertainment Night! The Midtown Men took Broadway by storm in one of the biggest Broadway hits of all-time. Now, The Midtown Men are bringing their magic to audiences everywhere singing their favorite 60s hits from the Beatles, the Rascals, Motown, the Four Seasons and more! The business meeting includes the 2014 Annual Report and the election of the ACRE Executive Committee. Tickets: $20 The morning starts with an NRECA Honors ceremony that includes key awards -- National Cooperative Service, President s, International, Paul Revere, William F. Matson Democracy, George W. Haggard Journalism, and the Clyde T. Ellis Award. President Curtis Nolan will pass the gavel to the in-coming president.
