FCA- Fellowship of Christian Athletes Where they meet: U15 Sponsor: Matt Walker, Angell Padovani Purpose: To present athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. French Club Where they meet: T5 Sponsor: Allison Foster-Haliburton Purpose: To provide French cultural opportunities for students, encourage friendship and a community at MHS. Freshman Class Where they meet: Gym Sponsor: Alicia Hardin, Brandi Gates Purpose: Encourage school spirit, plan fund raising, and improve campus life. GSA Gay Straight Alliance Where they meet: J4 Sponsor: Kim Lovelace, Allison Foster Purpose: Bring together LGBTQ and Straight students to support each other, provide a safe place to socialize and create a platform for fighting homophobia. Health/Med Club Where they meet: W14 Sponsor: Brandi Gates Purpose: To expose students to the field of health care and the job opportunities within the field. Heavy Metal Club Where they meet: R1 Sponsor: Colby Rodgers Purpose: To educate students of the genre of Heavy Metal music, form connections/friends through music, and analyze this genre of music and lyrics. 3

HOPE- Hope, Opportunity, Persevere & Empower Where they meet: T9 Sponsor: Tammy Watson Purpose: To HELP students take advantage of the OPPORTUNITIES made available to them within the educational system. In addition, students will be able to PERSEVERE as they are EMPOWERED with necessary tools for their future, thus bringing clarity and practical steps to accomplish their lifelong goals. Interact Club Where they meet: U7 Sponsor: Michael Bertucci, Darrell Thorely Purpose: Interact gives students the chance to make a real difference while having fun. Interact club carries out two main service projects a year: one that helps their school (we help sponsor the district s special needs prom in April) and one that promotes international understanding. Junior Class Where they meet: Gym Sponsor: Jonathan Tamayo, Neely Trotter Purpose: Encourage school spirit, plan fund raising, and improve campus life. K-Pop/K-Drama Club Where they meet: R14 Mondays 3pm-4:30p Sponsor: Corrine Thomason Purpose: Explore aspects of K-Pop/K-Drama, singing, dancing, viewing videos, listening to music, & having discussions. League of Legends Where they meet: U14 Sponsor: Rhys Kadekawa Purpose: To provide a place for student gamers to socialize and play in person as opposed to virtually. 4

Lunch Buddies Where they meet: Cafeteria Sponsor: Jennifer Heskett, Brandi Millstid Purpose: Interact with FALS students/play board games/card games or just sit and talk in the cafeteria while FALS students have lunch. Mansfield Speaks Sponsor: Jennifer Young Purpose: Create a forum for sharing ideas and promoting positive communication. The Movement Where they meet: W6 Sponsor: Heather Jungman Purpose: To create and organize events in order to raise money to donate to charities. MSA-Muslim Student Association Where they meet: W5 Sponsor: Heather Jungman Purpose: Not only to educate Muslims and non- Muslims of Islam but to bring a more positivity to the perception of Islam with community service opportunities and other social events. Multicultural Club Where they meet: T9 Sponsor: Tammy Watson Purpose: Promote cultural awareness and improve campus life. Role Playing Game (RPG) Where they meet: R14 Tuesdays 3pm-5:30pm Sponsor: Corrine Thomason Purpose: To play different RPG games and have fun with others in the Club. Real Change Where they meet: R9 Sponsor: Marilyn Byrum Purpose: To help those of the Christian faith bond and to better reach the community around them. 5

It aims to provide healthy, character building, educational activities carried out under rules providing for good sportsmanship and fair play for all participants. Ultimate Frisbee Club Where they meet: U3 Sponsor: Dee Ann Garrett Purpose: To provide students the opportunity to explore the art of Frisbee.
