Ephrata Sportsman Association Washington State PTA Leadership 1000 & Governors' Scholarship Applications Open! Just a quick reminder that the online applications for both the Leadership 1000 and Washington State Governors' Scholarship for Foster Youth are now open. Please encourage your students to apply as soon as possible! The online application can be completed on our website, and must be submitted by Monday, March 9, 2015. The Leadership 1000 Scholarship is $2,500 to $5,000 per year, for up to four years, for students who need assistance attending an eligible four-year college or university in Washington state. Please take a moment to review the eligibility criteria on our website. The Governors' Scholarship for Foster Youth provides $2,000 to $4,000 per year, for up to five years, for youth who have or will emancipate from foster care in Washington state to attend college. compete with new applicants.
