Change is on the horizon of your next projec t, Sponsorship Opportunities The purpose of NCEFP is to offer information, training and network opportunities to professionals involved in planning, designing, building and equipping schools. At our annual conference we help our members become better planners and our schools become better places for all students. However, none of this would be possible without our sponsors. Sponsors ensure quality programs at an affordable price. This allows many members to attend who may otherwise miss this opportunity. Please select a sponsorship opportunity, and help NCEFP to continue to foster, promote and disseminate best practices in school facility planning. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. This year s sponsorship opportunities include: Patron Sponsor - $300 The Patron Sponsors will be recognized in the conference package and at the Sponsor Appreciation Luncheon. Sustaining Sponsor - $500 The Sustaining Sponsors will be recognized in the conference package, recognized at the Sponsor Appreciation Luncheon and may have two slides included in the Sponsor PowerPoint played throughout the conference. Please e-mail your PowerPoint slides to Kim Brown with SFL+a Architects at kimbrown@sfla.biz. If you have any questions, you can also give her a call at 910-484-4989. Progressive Sponsors - $750 The Progressive Sponsors will be recognized in the conference package, recognized at the Sponsor Appreciation Luncheon, may have two slides included in the Sponsor PowerPoint played throughout the conference and may participate in the design display. Design displays will be set up in the conference display area near the hotel lobby throughout the conference. This is an excellent time for architects, engineers and vendors to display recent projects and discuss their work with conference attendees. This is not a trade show or an exhibit. Displays are limited to two boards on easels and there is no power available. Please limit your displays to the above requirements, but also be creative! Scholarship Contribution To promote awareness of educational facility planning opportunities, NCEFP awards scholarship assistance each year to one or more students enrolled in a degreed program related to school facility design or construction within the University of North Carolina System. Scholarship recipient(s) are announced at our annual conference. The minimum contribution is $50.
Change is on the horizon of your next projec t, January 2007 North Carolina Educational Facility Planner s annual conference is almost upon us and we need your help! The theme for this year s conference is,, and the conference will be held on March 1-2, 2006, again in sunny Wilmington, NC. An exciting new addition to last year s conference program was the Silent Auction if you did not make it, you missed an evening of great fun and enjoyment! All items were donated by various members and NCEFP friends, and the Auction was a huge success for the conference. In addition to the FUN everyone had trying to outbid each other the money that was raised went directly to pay for scholarships that NCEFP awards to deserving young students pursuing higher education. As you can see, the support of the members of NCEFP in the Silent Auction reached across the entire state. This year, we are asking for your participation in order to make the 2007 Silent Auction even better! Please consider making a donation of any sort, such as weekend hotel getaways, cottage weekends, golf outings, beach/mountain travel packages, or simply items that would draw interest from the attendees. Your company/school system/business will be recognized specifically during the auction and banquet. Just look at some of the great items from last year: Hurricanes ticket packages (several) Wine basket NCSU team-autographed football Durham Bulls Luxury Suite Party NC Aquarium Family Membership (1 year) Cordless Drill Beach and Mountain Weekend Getaways and many more! All items were donated by the members and supporters of NCEFP for participants to view and place a bid on during the 2-day conference. It is a great way to publicize your company or firm, as well as support the scholarship fundraising efforts for NCEFP. NCEFP hopes to award at least $7,500.00 in scholarships this year, so your support is critical. Please contact us at the information shown below as soon as possible if you are interested in participating - We can assure you that your support will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your consideration we look forward to another great Silent Auction! Sincerely, Silent Auction Coordinators Ann W.
