Grand Bikes The Grand Hotel has brand new bikes available for your enjoyment. The bikes are located at the Beach Hut and are available between the hours of 8am and 7pm. Whether you wish to pedal around the grounds of the Grand or ride into beautiful Fairhope, this is one activity that you are sure to enjoy! Please Dial 0 from any hotel phone for assistance. Parents must sign a rental agreement for children to ride. Helmets are available and are required for all children 16 years of age or younger. Bikes are complimentary for the first hour and $10 per bike per hour after the first complimentary hour. Kayaks, Sunfish Sailboats, Stand Up Paddle Boards & Hyrdrobikes Come enjoy our new water toys! We ve added Hyrdobikes, Stand Up Paddle Boards and Hobie Mirage Paddle Boards to our fleet! All watercraft will be available at the Beach Hut between the hours of 10am and 6pm. Everyone must sign a rental agreement to use the boats. Watercraft is complimentary for the first hour and $10 per watercraft per hour after the first complimentary hour. Jet Skis from Cosson Watersports Cosson Watersports offers jet skis daily at the Beach Hut from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Putting Green, Croquet, Horseshoes, Ping-Pong, Volleyball All games are located on the west side of the property from Julep Point to the Grand Pool. You will find the volleyball net, ready for play, on the North Beach. The Grand Ducks The Grand Hotel is home to a flock of ducks that tolerate us quite well! They look forward to amusing you while you toss them cracked corn (available at the Front Desk). The ducks prefer their meals served around the Lagoon near the Cascades! Complimentary Grand Fun Camp For ages 5-12. Fee: $35 per child. 3 child minimum 12 child maximum. Fun Camp is available for children ages 5-12 who are independent with their bathroom needs. We offer two sessions daily: 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. One meal will be provided during each session. This is a salute to today s military and those who have passed through this historic resort. The Ringing of the Bell at Sunset A Southern Tradition which signals the end of the day and beginning of the night Let the bell s toll move you to the porch of Bucky s to enjoy a spectacular Mobile Bay Sunset. The sunset is so beautiful; we had to concoct a drink in honor of it the Mobile Bay Sunset touting the same gorgeous colors displayed as in the sky.
