Riverside County Fire Department Reserves must fill out a 48.14V form. All forms must be approved by your Battalion Chiefs. You may e-mail registration forms and mail payment in advance or mail all in advance. Only checks or money orders made payable to RIVERSIDE COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT will be accepted. Please do NOT send cash. Payment is required a minimum of 7 days PRIOR to the class start date and is the only way to secure a place in the class. If the class is full, your check will be shredded or returned to you. Questions may be directed to the class coordinator. It is the student's responsibility to maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance. Some courses may require the wearing of uniforms or special attire. Course coordinators and/or course announcements may specify either a style or type of dress for a specific course. Acceptable dress includes: Issued Department Uniform. For Males: Casual business slacks and a shirt with a collar. For Female: Casual business slacks or business dress and shirt/blouse with collar. Unacceptable dress includes: T-Shirts Flip Flops Cutoffs Shorts Hats Tank or Halter tops Any shirt/blouse without a collar including t-shirts, tank tops, or halter tops. Clothing which is inappropriately worn, stained, soiled or unpressed. Clothing or decoration which expresses a political opinion, or expresses an attitude or opinion contrary to the public safety codes of ethics. All personal items are to be removed by 1200 noon on your check out day. 2. Upon checking out, the dorm room refrigerator is to be cleaned out. 3. An official Riverside County receipt will be sent after payment has been processed. 4. All dorm room requests must be received and processed by Friday 1200 noon the week prior to the start of your class. 5. If your arrival will be after-hours (after 5pm & weekends) you need to notify the Training Bureau Receptionist. Your key-card will be left for pickup in the first floor lobby office. 6. Riverside County Fire Department/CAL FIRE Ben Clark Training Center Dorm Room Agreement Failure to follow the below listed rules will result in removal from the dorm room. If you are removed from the room, refunds for unused days can take up to six weeks. 1. NO SMOKING in the building or within 25ft of the building Per County ORDINANCE NO. 866 2. NO ALCHOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR RECREATIONAL DRUGS Per County Board Policy H-21 on Ben Clark Training Center property. 3. NO GUEST After 8:00pm and NO overnight guest. 4. Rooms will be rented on a daily basis, there is a two day grace period to make a payment at which time you will be electronically locked out of your room until payment is received. 5. Furniture in the rooms shall not to be rearranged and no outside furniture allowed. 6. Rooms will be inspected by CAL FIRE training staff periodically (Academy students only) 7. Academy students are held to a higher standard, your room will be inspected unannounced. 8. Make sure you take your card key with you at all times; doors will lock automatically upon closing. 9. Beds must be made Military Style with the bedding provided. 10. Cooking equipment of any kind is not allowed in rooms, unless provided by facility. 11. No maid service, please police your room daily, rooms are cleaned before and after occupancy only. 12. Turn off all utilities when not in your room. 13. When checking out of the room, trash is to be emptied, dirty linen placed in the linen room, personal items are to be removed and remove all items from the refrigerator. 14. Check out time is 12:00 noon unless other arrangements have been made. 15. Please leave key card in the drop box located on the wall next to the entrance doors on the first floor. 16. Room privileges can be revoked at any time for noncompliance of any part of this agreement.
