What The Chamber s All About... The Chamber provides members with opportunities for referrals and business promotion, as well as quality programs to help members grow and succeed. Our organization serves as a catalyst by uniting member businesses, community agencies, education and government to make our city a great place to live, work and play. Chamber staff advocates for businesses on the local, county and state levels, and works diligently to support business. Members are welcome to bring in marketing materials for us to display in the Visitor Center. The Chamber receives hundreds of requests each year for recommendations and/or contacts for products and services in our area. The Chamber proudly refers visitors, newcomers, businesses, and residents to Chamber member businesses. Members can also promote their businesses on the Chamber s Facebook page. Celebrate your business by hosting a Ribbon Cutting, Open House or Groundbreaking event. The Chamber provides several different event sponsorship opportunities throughout the year to help promote businesses. Several publications are produced by the Chamber annually including, Membership Directory, Visitors Guide, and more, offering members additional exposure and advertising opportunities. You will be amazed at the top-notch quality connections you make at an RACC networking event. Through the Chamber we have had many opportunities to network with area businesses, both large and small. The Chamber s staff is always there to assist, no matter how small the request may be. They are consummate professionals in helping us grow through the various marketing outlets, as well as the numerous events they organize and we are able to sponsor. The Chamber s commitment to the growth of the community businesses is untiring and very, very much appreciated. Earl Bean, Infuze Credit Union Get Involved Join A Committee Small Business This committee is focused on small business issues, advocacy, and economic and workforce development. The committee plans and coordinates educational events, awards, and Small Business Week, in addition to assisting in speaker selection for chamber events and promoting area-wide business educational events. The committee meets monthly. Education This committee works to increase interaction between business and educational entities by coordinating events that involve the business community with local education, such as making presentations to 8th-grade classes and funding annual scholarships for the Show-Me Scholars Program; preparing for the annual Bulldog Pride Night; coordinating Teacher Appreciation Day at local schools; and recognizing the annual recipient of the Chamber s Outstanding Educator award. The committee meets monthly.
PFTF This committee is our military relations committee that focuses on outreach efforts to FLW. Businesses can become a corporate member of PFTF for $200/annually or individuals can support PFTF for $50/annually. The PFTF committee sponsors, FLW Spouses Tour, Warriors In Town Dinners, Hero s Challenge, and Memorial Day Services. This committee meets monthly. Ambassadors These are the main volunteer members of the Chamber organization. They assist with membership retention/recruitment and help with various events and greeting out of town guests. To become an Ambassador, you must be nominated from a current Ambassador. When I joined The Rolla Chamber I wasn t sure what to expect. But the ladies Chamber Chicks welcomed me into the group like I was part of the family. They are always prompt and truly make me feel like they want my company to succeed. The monthly luncheons are conducted in such a way, that although there maybe 100+ members present, each one is treated like a VIP. They are so informational and I feel so plugged into the community. Membership Investment Opportunities The Rolla Chamber of Commerce uses a Tiered Membership Dues structure, allowing you to choose the amount you pay and the sponsorship involvement you would like to have throughout the year. Trustee Membership - $5000 Keystone Mebership - $2500 Chairman Circle Membership - $1700 Executive Membership - $1200 Business Platinum Membership - $750 Business Gold Membership - $405 Business Membership - $205 Additional Memberships These membership levels are for individuals and organizations that do not fall within the definition of businesses covered by the membership packages above. Associate Membership - $100 Non-Profit Organizations - $125 (501c3/6, volunteer organizations with 2 or fewer employees) A La Carte You may add any event sponsorship or service to your membership level to enhance your membership investment. The Rolla Chamber provides great opportunites to get to know other businesses with the monthly luncheon, first Friday Coffee and social events through out the year. I take advantage of these opportunites by being apart of these events each month. The Chamber host ribbon cuttings for special business events and is a great resource for our community.
