What is TAE40110? The Certificate IV i Traiig ad Assessmet (TAE40110) is desiged to meet the curret ad future competecy developmet eeds of ew ad existig persoel participatig i a variety of work fuctios ad activities withi vocatioal educatio ad traiig (VET) i Australia. This may iclude formal traiig i a structured traiig eviromet, o-the-job istructio, coductig of workplace assessmets, oeto-oe traiig of appretices, as well as the coachig ad metorig of staff. The Certificate IV i Traiig ad Assessmet (TAE40110) is a atioally recogised traiig qualificatio that ca oly be issued by Australia Registered Traiig Orgaisatios. This course replaces the previous Certificate IV i Traiig ad Assessmet (TAA40104) ad supersedes all other previous atioally recogised traiig programs i traiig ad assessmet for the VET idustry. How is the MRWED Course Structured? There are 10 Uits of Competecy i the Certificate IV i Traiig ad Assessmet (TAE40110) ad the MRWED combiatio of Uits is desiged to provide cadidates with a clear set of bechmarks to support both iitial competecy achievemet ad ogoig professioal developmet. MRWED has orgaised its delivery of the Certificate IV i Traiig ad Assessmet (TAE40110) ito four clusters, as show below. Assessmet (ASS) The uits i the Assessmet cluster address the process of assessmet, the developmet of assessmet tools, competecy i validatio processes ad coordiatio of assessmet systems ad services. This cluster cosists of 4 Uits of Competecy which are: TtAEAss301B Cotribute to assessmet taeass401b Pla assessmet activities ad processes TtAEAss402B Assess competece taeass403b Participate i assessmet validatio Learig Desig (DES) The learig desig cluster uits address competece i both the desig of learig products ad the desig of the learig process. This cluster cosists of 2 Uits of Competecy which are: taedes401a Desig ad develop learig programs taedes402a Use traiig packages ad accredited courses to meet cliet eeds Eterprise Traier (ETR) The uits i the Eterprise Traier cluster idetify competece i makig a presetatio ad applyig skills istructio i a workplace eviromet. This cluster cosists of 2 Uits of Competecy which are: taedel301a Provide work skill istructio BSBCMM401A Make a presetatio Delivery ad Facilitatio (DEL) The delivery ad facilitatio cluster uits address the competece required to deliver traiig ad to facilitate learig. This cluster cosists of 2 Uits of Competecy which are: taedel401a Pla, orgaise ad deliver group-based learig taedel402a Pla, orgaise ad facilitate learig i the workplace Each cluster ca be completed either through Face-to-Face traiig at a MRWED Public Course, Correspodece Study, Olie Traiig or through Recogitio of Prior Learig (RPL). The Certificate IV i Traiig ad Assessmet (TAE40110) requires completio of all four of the clusters. The clusters ca be completed i ay order. Each cluster cosists of 2 cosecutive days of traiig ad assessmet. Additioally, there are two Post-Course Assessmets that studets ca complete idepedetly. Studets are ecouraged to obtai ay required assistace for the Post-Course Assessmets either by callig MRWED Learig Support o FREECALL 1800 2 TRAIN (1800 2 87246) or by attedig a optioal Traier Assisted Support day. There are o additioal charges for accessig support through either optio. Upo completig the Certificate IV i Traiig ad Assessmet (TAE40110) at MRWED graduates will be issued with the qualificatio ad will also have completed three of the Skill Sets specified i the TAE10 Traiig Package which are: Assessor Skill Set Eterprise traier Skill Set Eterprise traier ad assessor Skill Set MRWED studets have the optio of erollig i the full course or oly the Clusters, Skill Sets or Uits of Competecy of relevace to them.
