D. Additional requirements [Tobe completed if necessary, other requirements may be added on academic or organisational aspects, e.g. the selection criteria for students and staff; measures for preparing, receiving and integrating mobile students and/or staff] 1. General Remarks D ULMOl: Students are expected to choose the majority of their courses in that subject area which is covered by the inter-instltutlonal agreement. Students are allowed to choose an unllmited number of language courses (German and other languages). Decision of approval for courses in other subject areas or from different faculties may be delayed until the beginning of any given semester. In order to take courses from Master programs, students must have Master Ievei, i.e. they must have completed a Bachelor degree or 3 years of study or 180 ECTS at the beginning of their ERASMUS period. Access to courses in Human Medicine (0912) and Molecular Medicine (0518) and Psychology (0313) ls restricted to students who come on an agreement in that particular subject area. Erasmus students cannot register for coursesaffered by the School of Advanced Professional Studies (SAPS). Students wishlng to do Iab work e.g. in chemistry and related subjects have to attend a safety briefing prior to the start of the Iab. Approval may be denied or withdrawn if the performance of the student raises serious doubts that s/he will be able to follow or react to instructions due to poor linguistic competence and/or academic preparatlon in order to avoid hazards. 3. Students and Staff wlth pjsabilltles D ULMOl: In prlnciple, Ulm University is open to acceptlng students or statt with disabilities, however, we do not yet have an averaff infra-structure to accommodate all conceivable needs. The student housing agency provides especially designed rooms for students with disabillties, however, availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed. The main universlty building ls mostly barrier-free (doors, elevators, bathrooms) and thus wheelchalr accessible, while other university buildings are not. Thus, lt depends very much on the type of disability a student may have and which subjects s/he is planning to study to evaluate potential problems and solutions on an individual basis. Therefore, partners are advised to contact us weil before the appllcation deadline to ensure that all necessary arrangements can be made. : Erasmus+ Inter-lnstltutional Agreement 2016/17-2020/21 - * Bioehemist Molecular and Translational Neuroseiences Page 4 of 8
