Dress Code: Outerwear Heavy coats must be put in lockers upon arrival to grade level hall. Coats remain in lockers until the last locker break of the school day Any outerwear with a hood must be put in the locker immediately upon arrival to the grade level hall Only lightweight jackets, solid dress code colors are allowed in the classroom: black, white, khaki, pink, gray or blue If wearing a lightweight jacket or sweatshirt that meets dress code requirements, a collared dress code shirt must be worn underneath Students may wear Beck Academy sweatshirts over a collared shirt Beck Academy T-Shirts may not be worn over a Collared shirt.

Health Room All prescription medication must be brought to the health room in the original container by the parent, and be accompanied by the proper forms with both parent and physician signatures. Nurses cannot accept any medication without the proper forms and signatures. Over the counter (OTC) medication must be brought to the health room by a parent in the original non-expired container. There is a medication form for OTC medication that must be signed by the parent. Students are not allowed to call home or text for a health room dismissal. They must be seen by one of the nurses in the health room and the nurse will call the parent if a dismissal is required.

Attendance In middle school attendance is taken in every class period. A student must be present for more than half of a class period for it to not count as an absence Perfect attendance = A student is present every day for every class period Early Dismissals- send a note in the morning telling us time and who is picking up the student. They will come to the main office on their own at that time. Dismissal without a note- Ask that you wait for scheduled class change

Transportation Procedures Car Rider Line Enter through the main entrance and stay to the right Cars may double stack after the cones Merge every other car at the second set of cones, in front of school Pull all the way forward, DO NOT STOP in the middle of the line Parents MAY NOT park in the parking lot Bus Riders Students will load and unload busses in the back of the building Transportation will call you to tell you stop/ time Students may not ride any bus other than their assigned bus Walkers Students must have written permission from a parent to walk home Walkers must exit the campus through the doors in the back of the building immediately following dismissal.
