Course Credits Continuing Medical Education (CME) This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Banner Health and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Banner Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Banner Health and the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine strive for balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all sponsored educational programs. Faculty and program planners are required to disclose any financial conflict of interest relevant to their involvement with the symposium. If potential conflicts of interest have been reported by planners and faculty they have been assessed and resolved according to Banner Health Policy. At the symposium you will receive a CME form to complete. The white copy should be handed in at the registration desk. The yellow copy is your CME receipt and should be kept in a safe place for record keeping. Continuing Education Units (CEU) An application has been made for nurses to request CEUs for this symposium. Accreditation has not been received as this brochure went to print. American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG) The ABOG MOC standards now allow participation in ABOG approved Simulation Courses to meet the annual Improvement in Medical Practice (Part IV) MOC requirement. This course has been approved to meet ABOG Improvement in Medical Practice requirements for 2018. Please review the 2018 MOC Bulletin at http://www.abog.org/bulletins/moc2017.pdf for further information.
