Invitation to Lake County, Illinois Presidential Inaugural Ball Dear Prospective Sponsor/Exhibitor: You are invited to join us and participate as a Sponsor and or Exhibit Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Lake County, Illinois Inaugural celebration of the 44 th President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama. The Black Chamber of Commerce of Lake County will be hosting this historic county event. As our nation embarks on this history-making Presidency, we will be bringing Washington D.C. to Lake County, Illinois capturing live the swearing-in ceremony and all the inaugural events throughout the day and evening. Families and friends throughout Lake County, Illinois will enjoy the televised festivities in comfort and luxury at the Midlane Resort and Country Club in beautiful Wadsworth, IL. Lake County, Illinois event will follow the official theme for the Inauguration, unveiled by President-elect Barack Obama, which is A New Birth of Freedom. The Midlane Resort & Country Club is located at 4555 West Yorkhouse Road in Wadsworth, IL. The Inaugural activities will begin at 10:00am with an expo of emerging technology companies displaying their products and services and round table focus groups facilitated by our Lake County corporate and civic leaders. Following the exposition will be the Inaugural Luncheon beginning at 10:30. Historically the swearing-in ceremony takes place at 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Everyone attending the luncheon will be able to view this televised history-making event from their table on a colossal screen set specially constructed for this celebration. The climax of the celebration will be the Black-Tie Inauguration Reception and Dinner Ball, beginning at 6:00pm. As a sponsor, your business will gain maximum exposure with some of Lake County, Illinois most prestigious elected officials, corporate and civic leaders. It is anticipated that over 200 Lake County and State of Illinois residences will be in attendance at this historical event. Throughout the day, sponsors and exhibitors will have ongoing visible recognition of their company s products and or services in designated areas.
