September to do list Identify and tell me who your Re-charter coordinator is for 2016 Contact all your families now Compare your actual unit roster with what is listed on Scout net. Plan to go through this roster with your unit commissioner at the October Roundtable and get Bonus Buck$ If your members are not in the BSA online reports, they have not been registered with our council. Have a membership application completed immediately and submitted to the council office with hard copy of current Youth protection training and fee Do not wait until re-charter!
September to do list In September: As a unit, determine what it will cost to renew a member on your 2015 charter. $24.00 national $12.00 Boys Life $15.00 OA Unit Dues Other Collect the fees in October make them due by 10-31-15. You need some wiggle room for members who are slow pay. Confirm who will hold leadership positions in 2016. Fill Vacancies NOW and have them take the necessary trainings.
October Roundtable Turn in any missing youth or adult membership application for council processing. Adults must have a copy of a current Youth Protection Training certificate. Tip- keep a copy of the certificate in your unit files. You will receive your 2017 re-charter paperwork packet at October Roundtable. An official membership inventory will be taken with a unit commissioner at the October Roundtable. You will earn Ten RC Bonus Buck$ if you bringing a copy of your unit roster (not a printout from Internet Advancement), which will be compared to the recharter printout.
November items The online BSA Internet Recharter system will be LIVE on November 1 st. Login ASAP so we can tell you are moving forward. You can come back to it many times. Please don t make us use valuable volunteer time contacting you. Work to complete the data entry, print the reports, gather the signatures, and other items specified on the checklist included in your re-charter packet. November 3 rd Roundtable turn in your completed paperwork and payment if at all possible. Special reward drawing for those that get it in by Roundtable. We will hold a workshop before Roundtable this month to help you with the on-line portion if you want or need help. You can always stop in the Council Office and turn in your completed paperwork.
