About The Training Stress in the workplace contributes to chronic negativity, to illness, to missed days of work and decrease of productivity, conflict and most often, burnout. Stress and burnout also contributes to high staff turn over which interrupts service delivery, project management and wellness in the workplace. This three-day interactive training will help participants understands concepts of workplace wellness by understanding individual and collective wellness, how to build a solid team with trust, how to be trauma-informed, communication and conflict resolution skills and learn more about stress reduction as a tool for burnout prevention. Hands-on activities utilizing the training room and the outdoors will be utilized. Participants will leave with training curriculum as well as numerous tools to take back to the workplace to implement. She lives in Oregon with her life partner and children. She is the Executive Director of the Native Wellness Institute and helped to found the national non-profit organization in 2000. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Community Health Education and has served Indian Country for 30 years providing training and technical assistance in a variety of areas. Jillene has traveled to hundreds of Native communities and interacted with and learned from thousands of people. Whether she is providing youth leadership training, assisting women heal from childhood trauma or helping to bring wellness to the workplace, Jillene shares her passion for being positive, productive and proactive. She enjoys beading, reading, pow wowing and spending time with family and friends.
