1. MOTION To approve Mrs. Kathryn Lynch and five students, to participate in the District Chorus held at Delaware Valley High School in Milford, PA on February 4 thru 6, 2016. Mrs. Lynch will drive up in her personal vehicle on the morning of the 4 th and return the same day. The students will be taking a chartered bus, leaving at 6:00 AM, to the competition on the 4 th. The charter was set up to accommodate all the students from Berks County that are participating in the competition. Three chaperones will be riding the bus with the students. PMEA provides chaperones for the competition plus all security necessary for the safety of the competitors. Saturday, February 6 will be the final concert and all students will be picked up and transported home by their parents. Date: February 4-6, 2016 Location: Delaware Valley High School, Milford, PA Purpose: District Chorus Registration: Student: 5 x $125 = $625 (Covers lodging as well) Adult: No Cost Transportation: Students: Chartered Bus 5 x $25 = $125.00 Adult: Personal Vehicle 208 miles RT x $.575= $119.60 Substitute: One day (2/4/16): $140.16 High School Budget Funded: $1,009.75 2. MOTION To approve Mr. Jason Moll, Mr. Christopher Buckner, and sixteen students to participate in the PA-Technology Student Association Region 9 Leadership Conference at Stroudsburg High School, Stroudsburg, PA on Saturday, February 6, 2016. They will be participating in science, engineering and technology-based competitions. They will depart on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 6:15 AM and return at 6:30 PM. Date: February 6, 2016 Location: PA-TSA Region 9 at Stroudsburg High School, Stroudsburg, PA Purpose: Science, Engineering, Technology Based Competitions Activities: 16 Students $15 x 16 = $240 Transportation: 2 Vans = (140 RT x 2) x $.575 = $161.00 Substitute: None needed, competition is on a Saturday Curriculum Related Activities: ($19 per hour x 12 hours) x 2 teachers = $456.00 High School Budget Funded $857.00 1.
